boneless chicken breasts stuffed with herb cheese is an elegant weeknight meal with a delicious white wine sauce.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken cutlets
- boursin cheese
- 2 tbl canola oil
- 5 tbl butter divided
- ½ cup white wine
- ½ cup chicken broth
- salt & pepper
Instructions

preheat oven to 350 degrees

flatten chicken to ¼ inch
-
divide cheese into 4 portions and roll into cylinders
-
place cheese cylinders in center of each breast
-
roll chicken around cheese cylinder and tie with string
-
season chicken with salt & pepper
-
sauté in oil and 2 tbl of butter until brown on all sides
-
transfer pan to 350-degree oven and cook for 12-15 minutes
-
remove chicken to plate
-
place skillet back over medium heat and deglaze with wine and chicken broth
-
add salt and pepper and reduce
-
swirl in remaining 3 tbl butter
-
remove string and slice chicken
-
serve in a pool of sauce and fan out chicken slices
Recipe Notes
if your package of chicken comes with more than 4 cutlets, simply divide the cheese in that many portions
