Ingredients
- ½ small onion minced
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 tbl olive oil
- 12 saltines crushed
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 1 tbl worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- salt & pepper
- ¼ cup chopped parsley
- 1 lb meatloaf mix or ground beef or ground turkey
- glaze:
- ½ cup ketchup
- 4 tbl brown sugar
- 3 tbl apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- sandwiches:
- 4 potato rolls toasted
- 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
- spicy pickles
- 1 can french fried onions
Instructions

preheat oven to 425 degrees

saute onions and garlic in olive oil until translucent

mix all the ingredients together and form 4 burger patties

cook burgers in a cast iron skillet 3-4 minutes per side until browned on each side

mix ingredients for the glaze and brush on the burgers

put skillet in oven and cook 10-15 minutes more, brushing with glaze once more (save some for serving)

top with cheddar cheese and return to oven for 1 minute to melt

build meatloaf sandwiches by placing the burger on the toasted bun

top with the remaining glaze, spicy pickles and french fried onions
