Ingredients
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup italian bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated parmigiano-reggiano
- salt & pepper
- 2 balls fresh mozzarella thinly sliced
- 8 slices pullman loaf or any other white bread, crusts removed
- canola oil for frying
- 1 cup flour
Instructions

beat together the eggs and milk in a medium bowl

season with salt, & pepper
-
mix bread crumbs and parmesan cheese
-
divide the mozzarella between 4 slices of the bread
-
put the remaining slices of bread on top of the mozzarella and press to close.

add peanut oil to a deep pan until it is at least a 2-inches deep.

heat over medium-high heat to 350 degrees
-
dredge each sandwich in flour and shake off the excess.

dip each sandwich in the egg mixture.

dip the sandwich in the breadcrumbs
-
working in batches, fry the sandwiches 2 minutes on each side

drain on a paper towel and serve with a side or marinara sauce
