Ingredients
- 6 tbl olive oil divided
- 1-6 oz can tomato paste
- 1 tbl crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- salt & pepper
- 1 lb pasta
- parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions

cook pasta in boiling salted water until al dente, reserving ΒΌ cup pasta water

heat 4 tbl olive oil in a large pan
-
cook tomato paste and red pepper flakes for 3-5 minutes on low
-
add tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes while the pasta cooks
-
add pasta and reserved water to the sauce and stir until combined, 1 minute more
-
add remaining 2 tbl olive oil and toss again
-
serve topped with grated cheese
