Ingredients
- 1 can san marzano tomatoes
- ½ stick butter
- 1 onion cut in ½
- salt & pepper
- 1 lb pasta
Instructions

cook tomatoes, butter and onion halves in a pot on medium until bubbling

turn to simmer and cover and cook 30 minutes

remove onion
-
mash or use a hand blender to puree tomatoes

season with salt & pepper

serve over pasta
